Is there a way to set a full alias, including the domain name?
|mailNickname||string||The mail alias for the group. Max. length: 64 characters. These characters cannot be used in the mailNickName: @()\";:.<>,SPACE. Required.|
This only allows the allocation of the preceding name, not the FQDN.
In our tenancy we have multiple domains. It would be great to be able to set the full email alias via graph in order to assist with reporting and migrations. Any suggestions?
I probably didn't explain myself well in the original question.
I'm already using Graph to create the group. One of the options as part of this call is mailnickname, but this only allows you to set the prefix, not the suffix of an email address.
For us to be able to categorise a group in a shared tenacy to a particular subset, I thought being able to customise the suffix part of a group's email to one of the existing brands in the tenancy, would work...
my bad, I misunderstood you.
