How to automate the deployment of MS Flow

For our development, I always have created two Flows, one for PROD, one for NON_PROD. The problem is, after our QA completes the test for the NON_PROD Flow, we still cannot gurantee the PROD one will run without any problem, some human mistakes still could happen, since we have to create both Flows manually.

I wonder if there is better way to avoid such kind of mistakes?

Re: How to automate the deployment of MS Flow

Hi there Gaolai

From what I understand the NON_PROD Flow is being tested by your QA. This works so you revert to your PROD.

When I work in a simmilar way I normally do one of a few things and I would do this to the NON_PROD as the PROD should always be a clone of what the QA has given the thumbs up to?

1) From the main Flow menu, click save as on NON_PROD and rename it to PROD. Then change any connections required.

2) If testing accross tenant, you could choose to export to zip and import to new tanant, this prompts you to set up new connections.

Human error is what it is, but cloning NON_PROD to become PROD should surely limit the chance of human error.

Please let me know your thoughts or provide additional information if anything has been missed.

Alan
