Hello,
I am working on a task where I have to send email notification to owner of task. If no action is taken by the owner within 1 hour, I have to send another reminder email. This will continue for 5 times till action is taken.
I am wondering if there is any other way to build flow other than Delay action because if I use this I have to use Delay action 5 times.
Can anyone help me.
Thanks
Hi @Anonymous ,
If there is a need to send emails at exactly the hour on the dot from when the task is created, you will most likely need to have an active flow attached to the task as a recurring trigger will require you to run at regular periodic intervals.
I think having 5 delays isn't too bad if the maximum duration is 5 hours. There are ways you can redesign the flow like creating a reminder for each task as a list item which will trigger it's own flow to check after the timeout expires. This will require less delays but more complexity so not really worth it.
