Re: How to count the total items return based on the filtered query from document library

Hi Kris,

Thanks for your feedback and advice.

Currently i am using Document Library and it's requiring metadata column to store all the predefined-value for user selection.

It's pretty tough for me to change the column type to text.

I will raise a request to Flow Ideas forum.

Thanks a lot.

Cheers,

VTEC

Re: How to count the total items return based on the filtered query from document library

Hi @VTEC,

Could you please share a bit more about your SharePoint list?

Is the Company Code column a Managed Metadata colymn in your SharePoint list?

Further, do you want to use OData query within the Filter Query field of the "Get items" action to filter items?

I have made a test on my side, the Managed Metadata column is not supported in the OData query filter expression filled within the Filter Query field of the "Get items" action in Microsoft Flow currently.

If you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Flow-Ideas/idb-p/FlowIdeas

In addition, you could consider take a try to change the data type of the Company Code column into a Single line of text type column and try your flow again to check if the issue is solved.

Best regards,

Kris
