How to create a sharepoint site that has a group? Or how to add a group to an existing sharepoint site?

Hello. I have a Flow that creates a SharePoint site based on this documentation: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/dev/apis/site-creation-rest

But I notice that these are the only options for the type of site you can create:

The one I'm using is the Team Site. But the issue is that it is non-group associated. Is there a way to change that or are these the only options we have?

Here is the action I use to create the SharePoint site:

This works, the only issue now is I'm trying to add Owners, Members and Visitors...and this is only doable if the Site has an associated group.

I was following this article on how to add users to a SharePoint Site: https://normyoung.ca/2020/10/22/add-and-remove-users-to-a-sharepoint-site-using-microsoft-lists-and-...

This will work for a regular SharePoint site that I create manually, but not for the Site that I create through Flow. Is there a way to add a group to a SharePoint site or is there a way to create the group when the site is created?

Thank you.

We cannot add a group to a new or existing SharePoint Site. But, if you create a new Office 365 Group, you will automatically get SharePoint Site with it.

With MS Graph v1.0, you can create Office 365 Groups.

Check the following reference:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/resources/groups-overview?view=graph-rest-1.0

You can use HTTP action (Premium) to call MS Graph API.

Please give a try and let me know if you have any questions.
