How to set automatic choose one approval item if the user don‘t click the option button in 24 hours?

Hi Guys:

 

Recently, i met a problem about how to set to choose one approval item automatically  if the user don't click any button of approval option and it  reached fixed waiting time(For example 24 hours)

Would you please give me some hints?

Hi @Jackywei_BDF 

 

There are two posts marked as solutions in the above link I've provided, hope you have taken a look at them.

It clearly explains what needs to be done for your requirement.

  • Add a parallel branch
    • One coming from the time out (in case nobody replies within time). After the timeout you can always repeat the same set of actions that are mentioned under your "left path" which you mentioned in above post.
    • And the other branch to decide what needs to be done in case someone does reply.

Not sure if there is way to do that.

Thanks for your help.

But it seems it not answer i wanted.

I running an approval process. I set two option for it. (option1 and option2). The approval process have two paths(Left and right) to mapping choose option1 and choose option2.

My request is if user don't choose any option in 1 hour, the process default to choose option1 and go to  left path automatically.

By the way, how to set an approval process time out limitation?

It is working now:)
