How to setup Catch Webhook from Google home to MS ToDo

Hi all,

I’m (very) new to Power Automate and caught the workflow bug from using IFTTT and Zapier. I am trying to replicate a flow I previously created in Zapier:

  1. Use Google home with key words to capture a task
    • e.g. “Hey Google” [Google home activates],
    • ”I need to” [this is the trigger to Google Home to add the following task]
    • ”Buy Milk” [this is the text ingredient or task that needs to be inserted in the MS ToDo App]
    • In short: ‘Hey Google, I need to buy milk’ —> ‘Buy Milk’ is the task that appears in the MS ToDo app
  2. Per above, Once Google Home captures the task, it appends the text ingredient (buy milk) to a URL that Power Automate is listening to
  3. Power Automate adds the task to MS ToDo of my account

Can anyone help with setting this up? I followed the advice of someone on Microsoft UserVoice to set this up on IFTTT/Zapier, but have no clue how to replicate in Power Automate:

In Zapier:
1. Catch Hook (WebHooks from Zapier)
2. Create Task in Microsoft To-Do
Step 1 will give you a URL.
In IFTTT:
If "Say a phrase with a text ingredient" then "Make a web request"
Web request:
POST
application/x-www-form-urlencoded
item={{TextField}}

Many thanks,
RS
