How to use power automate to collect data from users

Hi all,

We have a database in Azure SQL DB. We want to build a web form where we can let users edit fields in this db. I was wondering which Power automate tool would be best for this purpose? Would love if community members could share insights or links to resources.

Here is a quick gist of our process -> Have a user table in Azure SQL with user names, emails and contract dates. Want to present a web form to users using power automate/power apps where they can change the dates of their contract with us. and save the info That's it. Is it possible using power platform? (We do have all users as guest on our Azure AD)

We already use a lot of Power tools hence wanted a solution using the same.

Thanks in advance,

HV

Hi @Anonymous

For what you define, you can use only Power Apps to do this. No need for Power Automate.

You can define a source in Power Apps and connect directly to the database and do all your actions.

@manuelstgomes  Thanks for your response. Will the users need to download the app or can they open it on the web?

Hi @Anonymous

Just share with them and they will see it in their Power App's app.

One thing you need to check is Sharing of resources or else you will have real hard time sharing it with your end users. You might end us with the prompt as below.

Just a quick tip.
