Ideas/Help for a scavenger hunt type exercise in Teams integrating Flow

My team is getting familiar with Teams using a series of weekly challenges that involve them performing a task in Teams to earn credit.  This approach has been successful and we're looking to level up.

Objective: when user performs a task in Teams; such as, using a bot or replying to a specific conversation, then Flow sends email to that user informing next steps

*open to other non-complex ideas!!

Need help with creating the Flow steps for sending the email to the same user that exectuted the task in Teams.

Hi @MorganM ,

Currently, the trigger that MS Flow can use and integrate with Teams are only When I am mentioned in a channel message and When a new channel message is added.

From your description, it seems that the latter is similar to the scenario you need.

You could determine if Message Body content contains the specified string. If yes, get the email based on user id and then send the email.

Please take a try.
