If the Sender cancel Approval in Flow

Hi

Usually we create a  Send an Approval Flow , there are several conditions (Approved, Rejected and customized answer) that could let us proceed to the next action.  Is there the condition that could be selected if the sender cancel this approval?

Since I want to set other action if this approval is canceled by sender.

Hi @Tiffany-Jo

Why not make the cancel one of the conditions? Something like bellow.

Then you can parse it separately from the other options.

If this is not what you're looking for, please let me know, and we'll try to figure this out.

@Tiffany-Jo

All you need to do is to use a switch statement - see my example below.  A switch statement works much like an if.  The default condition will execute if none of the other options (Approve or Reject in you case) apply.   Please note that changing the approval options to anything other than Approve or Reject requires a premium license.  It sounds like you do have a premium license since you have custom options.   Adding a cancel option won't meet your requirements because the use can always click on Cancel in the Flow approvals center.

@manuelstgomes Thank you.

This is the customized answer from approver,too.

I hope it is the feedback from executor.

Re: If the Sender cancel Approval in Flow

Hi @Tiffany-Jo,

If the executor cancels the Approval request is from Approval center -> Sent, you can determine the length of response Summary to judge the approval request whether it is canceled. If the approval request canceled, the response Summary will be 0, no matter some approver have responded:

length(body('Start_and_wait_for_an_approval')?['responseSummary'])
