Import Excel data to Dynamics when a file is created on Sharepoint

Hi Flow community!

I would like to import Excel data to Dynamics when an Excel file (always the same Excel template) is added to a Sharepoint library. However, when i am using the "When a document is added to Sharepoint" it seems impossible to get the Excel column names and map them to the Dynamics record i want to create. I understand this kind of behaviour, because Flow does not know if the file will always contain the same columns, but i am wondering if there is some kind of work-around.

The only option for now seems to be to use a static Excel file that users need to copy-paste their data in, but this isn't a ideal solution. Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

Re: Import Excel data to Dynamics when a file is created on Sharepoint

Hi @emunnik,

Unfortunately, there is no way to get a new excel file content according to a dynamic table name.

You can put the data into a preset template excel file, then use Flow to get the fix file's content, then delete the rows of the excel for next time input.

It's also a workaround to input data into a SharePoint list.
