Hi, guys.
I'm having a huge problema when working with time in Flow and Sharepoint (who isn't, right?). I'm able to get the time and convert to my TimeZone. BUT, everytime I send the time to an item in a list in Sharepoint, the time isn't correct, and I don't have any vague idea what's going on here. Can anybody know what am I doing wrong?
As you can see down below, Flow sends the time showing in my clock (16h07). But whan Sharepoint writes the same value, it shows 08h07. BUT excel receive the right one.
Of course there's a workaround, a bad one actually, to convert this time to a timezone with 8 hour different, but I don't want to believe this feature is this awful. It has to be one mistake, a silly one I'm doing here. I don't know what to do any more, I'm trying to fix this for a entire day. Please, can anybody help me?

Check the regional settings in the Site Collection settings in SharePoint. SharePoint online normally defaults to whatever timezone the server is in unless you change the regional settings for the site collection. For me that means Pacific Time, even though my local time zone is Eastern US. Also, the Z you see at the end of the timestring in Flow says that time is being shown in UTC. So if you input that into a SharePoint list it will display in SharePoint as 8 hours earlier (PST is -8 from UTC). I suspect that is what you are seeing.

How are you getting the time and then converting it? Also, do you know for certain that your SharePoint environment is configured correctly for your timezone?
I made a quick flow that uses the Convert time zone action with a base time of utcNow(). I converted the time to my timezone and then used an Update item action to update a date field with that converted time value. The correct time shows up in my SharePoint list. Check it out:

But I'm doing pretty much everything you are. Take the utcnow() and converting to my timezone (UTC-03:00) Brasilia.
I did another flow with another list just to test easily and the results are even more weirder. The same utcnow() variable, in Sharepoint list gives me as plain text: "11/15/2019 5:25:00 PM". And in the date field "15/11/2019".
I'm gonna check the settings as soon as I can, but was not me that put that Z in the end, was Sharepoint. There's anyway to prevent it?
SharePoint likes to have datetimes in the ISO acceptable format. Check out the settings in that column to see the format that is currently being used for display!

Yes, SharePoint put it there because it always stores everything in UTC format. It only translates it for display. On the web it will translate to the user's local timezone, but in PowerApps it tends to revert to the local of the server in my experience.

My Sharepoint was in wrong time in regional settings as @Pstork1 mentioned. And thanks @Pstork1 and @AKRogers to reply so fast. Was really helpful to me to understand better Flow and Sharepoint.
Turns out I didn't need to convert the timezone, Sharepoint (when properly set) handles this for us. I could just put the UctNow() in the field data, but as there was another problem, I wasn't aware of, I couldn't figure it out alone. Thanks!
You Sir, are good! It was in the SP Site Settings<<Site Administration>>> Regional Settings. This was for the entire SP site, not just the SP List I was working with. All other settings for my computer were set correctly.

Try checking and ensuring the time zone settings are correct for each step in your flow that deals with time (ie: check your settings for the source of your time (the site), and the end program (ie: Outlook calendar), along with any interactions in between that are built into the flow using PowerAutomate. You might notice along the way that Microsoft converts to a "universal coordinated time" for Outlook meetings placed from a flow, but it still shows up at the correct local time on my calendar when converted back from Coordinated Universal Time (see image).
Its to do with the daylight saving. PowerAutomate can cope with time zones but not with time zones that change through the year. We really need computers, specifically SharePoint, Excel, Power Apps and Power Automate, to understand local time. Or at least all three of them to interperate local time the same.
Unfortunately Ashley, nobody in the real world uses ISO acceptable formats, so SharePoint is out of step with the whole of humanity!!!
Does any one have any tips on where to place the conversions in the flow to get the time to display correctly in lists. All region and time settings for our sharepoint sites are set correctly but all the dates from forms/automate/lists functions are wrong. Our lists display times from the future but not sure what modules to place in the flow and where they should be to not break our existing flows. Thanks.
The problem is that SharePoint stores dates/times in UTC timezone and automatically translates it to the regional settings in the site or user's settings. Power Automate reads the dates/times directly as they are stored. So if translation to a specific timezone needs to happen you have to do it in the flow. There are actions to translate date/times to a specific timezone. But it won't happen automatically.
I realize this is an old thread but I'm hoping that someone can assist. I have been plugging away at this and learning Power Automate as I go.
I have a flow that reads a list and grabs the time and does it wonderfully. It then takes it and I am able to plunk it into both a sharepoint calendar and the group calendar (don't ask why I'm doing both but I am).
Initially both my main sharepoint site and the subsite were in the wrong time zone (PST when I'm in Eastern). I've updated those and now my time is coming out at 500-515 when it should be 900-915. I get that this is due to UTC and the limitations. What I don't get is how/where I can update what is being pulled from my list and plunk that in, instead of having PA and Flow change my existing values on me.
Please post this as a new question and send me a link. Adding things to existing questions doesn't get as many views so fewer people will help and no one will be able to find the answer in the future.
