Increment a number in a Sharepoint list

I am very new to Power Automate. I am trying to create an approval flow. I know the templates are out there but do not meet the requirements. Everything is working fine but I need to be able to update the number of people who have approved the document each time an approval is received.

The field in the Sharepoint list is defined as follows:

The start of the flow looks like this:

The remainder of the flow looks like this

The expression being used looks like this

add(triggerBody()?['Approver_x0020_Count_x0020_1'],1)

The goal is to increment the Approver Count 1 field by 1. This does not seem to be working well.

I am using parallel branches for each of the approvers. The Approver Count 1 field only ever advances to "1" regardless of how many people have approved the document.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Increment a number in a Sharepoint list

@DwightSlessman

You can initialize a integer variable after the trigger.

After approval process increment that variable using action "increment Variable".

You need to create more variables if using more approvals parallelly.
