Issue with Microsoft Flow connection for Azure automation

Hello Team,

I have a requirement where I need to set up a connection to Azure automation from Microsoft Flow. I have the Azure setup in a separate tenant than my flow tenant. But my flow account has been added as a guest user to the other Azure tenant. when I try to create a connection to the Azure tenant where I'm a guest user, I cannot see the subscription coming up under the subscription box and when I add the subscription manually, it comes up with an error as shown below.

Can we not create a connection to another tenant where we are added as guest through Flow?

Re: Issue with Microsoft Flow connection for Azure automation

Hi @sunithakm19 ,

Sorry for I'm afraid that there is no any way to get the subscription for a guest user in microsoft flow currently.

Best regards,

Alice

Re: Issue with Microsoft Flow connection for Azure automation

It looks like the problem is that the Oauth token being used to access Azure is being generated by the tenant where Flow is situated. So even though you are a guest user in the other tenant its trying to use the wrong STS service for the token.  I suspect that Flow and Azure have to be in the same tenat for this to work and I don't think there is a workaround.
