Item Level Permissions and Power Automate action Grant Access to an item

Dear all,

 

I set the Item Level Permissions as "Read items that were created by the user" and subsequently set a flow to grant access to an item to Person A.

 

However, Person A is unable to view the item created by someone else. Not sure what went wrong.. Anyone?

Using the item level permissions feature is incompatible with manually breaking inheritance and setting permissions or sharing documents or items.  Sorry...
