Json parse action properties does have values

I’m passing an array variable with properties to Json parse action through parse action successfully parsing the array with provided schema but in the subsequent actions the properties of the parsed json are not retrieving the array values. Any help much appreciated. Thanks

It's working now, I get the property values, I think its a transient issue with the action itself.

Hi @kiranYedugani,

 

Are you looping through the items of the array with an apply to each loop after the parse json? Can you also share a screenshot of your flow setup? This will help us troubleshoot the root cause of why array values are not retrieved.

Thank you for the response,
Here is what I'm trying to achieve:
1.  Get all the list items from a SharePoint list to send an alert to the Assigned with all their pending list items. So Firstly fetching all items from a list with filter condition using SharePoint GetItems action and then filtered the data based on required criteria.

post that I have tried every thing as per this link : https://normyoung.ca/2020/12/21/send-a-single-reminder-for-multiple-items-using-lists-and-power-auto... , but unfortunately after the JSON Parser action I'm unable to get the values of the properties of the JSON Parser output.
Here is a sample I have tried to test

The Parser runs successfully by providing the output correctly with values.

but I'm unable to retrieve those properties in the subsequent actions. I have checked it using the compose data operation action for your understanding

I have tried to get the properties values with expressions such as item()?['Claims'] but nothing works. Please help!

The apply to each 3 action loops through all the 13 array elements but the its properties have no values in it.

None of the properties of the JSON parser action has values being retrieved:

Hi @kiranYedugani,

 

In the screenshots you shared it looks like the order of actions and the location of the Filter Array action is different in your setup. I also see you have multiple apply to each actions.

 

Norm Young is also using a Select action in the beginning of his setup, directly after the Get Items action. I don't see that action in the screenshots of your setup? Can you double check you followed the same steps as Norm?

 

The end result of that setup should look like the below:

Norm Young also uses that output to create a list of distinct Assigned To values in the variable. This is to sent only a single reminder with multiple items. Do you have the same requirement for your flow setup?

Here is the snippet of the order of my actions

I have a criteria where I need to filter out the data further to get the items only which require a reminder, So I have used the Filter action after the Get Items action, rest remains the same.

 

But after the JSONParser the properties of the JSON parser output are empty. why is it so?
Used Compose data operation to test it.  The input property is empty as you see below, though it is looping through all the items of Parser output, the property is not retrieving its value.

And my scenario is same, a single reminder to Assignees with multiple items which means every assignee will/should get a single email reminder with all their items which require a reminder.

Wha did you do differently? I'm getting the same issue, the Parse JSON output has the values, but when I try to compose to check or use it in an email or something it's blank.

The only change I made in my flow is in the select data operation, is instead of mapping it as a key value, I have switched the map to text mode and provided the expression in it. My expression was item()['AssignedTo'] and it worked. I got the values in the properties of JSON parser output.
