Left outer join with exclusion from two arrays

Hello.

I am completely stumped.  How would one perform a left exclusive join from two arrays?

Example data:

Array 1 (sourced from a SharePoint list) :

[ Eric, John, Mike ]

Array 2 (sourced from active directory -- all users)

[ Mary, Sally, Eric, Arnold, John, Mike, Jen, ...]

The goal is to identify users from array 2 that are not present in array 1.

I watched this video and it was insightful, but i dont completely understand it and am not sure if it the right join type.

Update: The names from the SharePoint list are 'Person' type records sourced from AD.  Perhaps there are some ID's that can used since array 2 is also sourced from AD?

Thoughts?

Thanks
