Link 2 SharePoint Lists for an approval

Hello,

I have 2 sharepoint lists.  One contains staff details, other stores items that staff requested.  They are linked using ID - MasterID.

I now need to create a Flow to do the following:

1. When new item is created in SP 1

2. Get items from SP 2 where MasterID in SP 2 matches ID in SP 1

Then need to add approval route but it is the first couple of steps that i don't know how to do if someone is able to explain how I can link this in Power Automate that would be great.

thought i had managed to solve this but no:

I added in the filter query - MasterID Equals ID

My initial test worked and all good but when i have gone back to it, the dynamic content - ID - has removed itself from the field and is now blank.

Am I doing something wrong here?
