MS Flow take longer time to trigger

Hi All,

I have created my Flows using SharePoint as a trigger (when item is created), but it takes long time to trigger which around (20-30mins). How to I overcome this? Some user when they submit item from SharePoint list they are expecting that it will directly trigger the flow once the item was created. Any suggestion or advices on this?

Thank you in advance.

Re: MS Flow take longer time to trigger

Hi @fikrie92,

What's the license are you using? The Flow is used by many users, and some users should spend more time to execute it, right?

If the license is trial, it will spend several minutes to perform it some times.

As a workaround, you can delete the problem Flow, then recreate the same Flow. Or create the new connection of the SharePoint connector and try it again.

Re: MS Flow take longer time to trigger

Hi @v-litu-msft ,

Its a free version of MS Flow. Sometimes its not certain because there are times also that the flow trigger quickly (around 3-5min) after item is submitted. How do we get this correct other than re-creating the flow because my Flow got a lot of branch already.

Thank you.

Re: MS Flow take longer time to trigger

Hi @fikrie92,

You can export your Flow as a package then import the Flow instead of recreating it if your Flow is huge. The purpose is to recreate the connection of the Flow.
