MS Flow

Is there a way to automate task creation from Forms? I created a flow for when a response is submitted in MS Forms, a task is created in MS Planner. However, I can't seem to get the responses from the Form to appear in the description of the task that gets created in Planner.

Yes this can be done but you need to use both Create a task and update task details. See the flow steps below. The critical step is to add a delay between them because if you don't then create task and update task details steps run at the same time and it throws an error.

This was super helpful!! I got stuck though when I try to add the last step of "Update Task Details." I don't have the option to choose "ID" from Planner for the Task ID field. It doesn't show up on the box to the right under Dynamic Content. Is there another way to reference the Task ID?

By default Flow doesn't always display all the available items in the dynamic content. To do so click "See more" in the grey bar above the Planner fields.

Hi Rob, I did click on "See More" and the only Dynamic Content option that shows up for me is "list of response notifications Response ID." Am I missing a step somewhere?Screenshot.png

I suspect you have created the Update task details action outside of the Apply to each. It must be inside it as you will see from the image below.
