MSN Weather data not returning requested Metric values, instead only in Imperial?

Just as the title states, I setup an MSN Weather integration on our Sharepoint site to track certain cities.

On Power Automate the whole flow seems correct and units in the 'Get current weather' step amongst others, are set to Metric.

However the data returned is imperial (Fahrenheit), can someone please guide me as to what is going on? Is this a known bug or what?

Thanks

Hi @Saad_Abdullah ,

You can try the following:

I would make a copy of the flow (without the Update Item action of course) to test the flow and ensure you get outputs you need

Hi @Saad_Abdullah

This may just be a temporary bug as I am seeing the same problem:

This should be temporary.

If you have a valid plan, you can contact support:  Microsoft Power Automate | Support

Hi,

I am also having this issue - Weather is returning in Fahrenheit not Celsius - This only happened since the new year - it has been working as expected for the last 18 months.  I have certain triggers depending on the temperature returned and have had to adjust them for imperial units.  Hoping it is temporary.

This has been happening to me too. I have a spread sheet constantly updating from this weather integration and the last time it properly returned metric values was 6.32 am GMT 29th December , the next scrape at 7.32am GMT and ever since have been Imperial units.

Same here in Australia - Imperial units since new year start. We have changed from Imperial to Metric in July 1974 🙂

We are seeing this bug (?) here in Finland too. Of course 22 degrees would be a much more comfortable temperature, but unfortunately it is not the truth 😄

Same here, in Germany.

Thanks for posting the workaround - I have implemented that in my flows and they are doing what I need

Thanks for sharing this information, I believe it would work for sure. However what would you suggest I do given my layout? As the solution for yours assumes you initialize a variable prior to getting weather, but  I have 2 variables relying on one main action.

After having it work for me and marking the post as solved provided the solution from @ekarim2020, it seems my flows are slowly reverting back to Fahrenheit on their own...I haven't changed anything. It's almost like a virus has spread across the MSN weather system servers causing this malfunction. Anyways, hope they fix their severe bug soon.

Can you post the flow and the runtime output. I still have a support ticket opened with Microsoft, but they want to close it.
