Manual resend an approval request

Is there any way to manually send an approval email to an approver who has lost the original request email?

Re: Manual resend an approval request

Then you might need to save the Cognito form submission into a list in SharePoint and then you can use the manual approval button in my earlier post.

Re: Manual resend an approval request

Hi @Boz1, if your approval is based on a new item in a SharePoint list/library then you could add a new column for a button and trigger the flow manually that way.

 The JSON code to format the button is:

{
  "$schema": "https://developer.microsoft.com/json-schemas/sp/v2/column-formatting.schema.json",
  "elmType": "button",
  "txtContent": "Send for Approval",
  "customRowAction": {
    "action": "executeFlow",
    "actionParams": "{\"id\": \"a66b6812-c8fa-40fa-8ede-9240c168b8a5\"}"
  }
}

Thanks for the response.

Unfortunately, this approval is not based on a SharePoint list/library. My approval email is triggered by a submission in Cognito.

Re: Manual resend an approval request

Since Power Automate doesn't all manually resending the approval request, my only workaround is to use Cognito to resubmit the request. When the request is resubmitted, Power Automate generates and sends an approval request - although I don't know if the links are the same as the initial approval request that the users "lost".
