Max number of retries in email trigger

Hi,

I'm using the following triggers in flow

1. send an email from shared mailbox(v2)

2. reply to email(v3)

 

for some testcases, i've observed these triggers are taking the retires while sending the email and the flow status is showing amber. so i'm just curious to know what is the max number of retires that both of these triggers can take/ and what if the flow was unable to send an email within the retires will that flow fails ?

Technically, it should fail. 

 

BTW the default has been changed to 2 - seems Microsoft did not update the text in the action. For details see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/limits-and-config#retry-policy

Hey Mate,
 
Retry Policy - A retry policy applies to intermittent failures, characterized as HTTP status codes 408, 429, and 5xx, in addition to any connectivity exceptions. The default is an exponential interval policy set to retry 4 times.
 
In the past, I have modified the retry policy from default (4 retries) to 90(max) retries. Each retry should wait for 60 seconds before making the API call.

thanks, may i know what happens, if the flow reaches 4 retries and still not able to send ? will that fails ?
