Microsoft Planner - Task Approval Flow

All,

Having an issue pulling the correct fields into the approval notice. I would like to not only supply the Task Name in the Details of the Approval but also the Task Description. Also, is there a dynamic way to pull the Task Link and provide it in the Approval Link field?

Re: Microsoft Planner - Task Approval Flow

Hi @CatesGEA,

You could get the task description using Get task details and then configure it in the Approval details, as below:

As for "pull the Task Link", I am afraid there is no method to do with it. The Link to the task (Planner task) property is not supported in Microsoft Flow currently, if you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

You could also vote for the similar ideal in the forum below:

Re: Microsoft Planner - Task Approval Flow

@CatesGEA

I found a post describing a potential workaround for this limitation, by building the link with the following format:

https://tasks.office.com/{tenantenvironment}/en-US/Home/Task/{TaskId}

The workaround was posted in 2018, but I have just tested it, and still works

Hope this helps
