Missing Approval Emails

I have a flow to send out approvals to for a form. But I only receive teams and the approvals within flow. But I want the emails as well.

I have do exactly the same things in videos of all the MVP's and I have tried similar to other answers to this issue like adding the requester field.

I can receive emails as I send one to the same account right before the approval step.

Thanks,

Andrew

Also, if your Exchange administrator can run a Message trace, they may be able to confirm whether approval emails are actually being received from maccount@microsoft.com and are not being blocked for some reason:

I've just run a test Approval flow, and I am also not getting the approval appearing via email.

I get an approval alert in MS Teams, but any attachments that are sent as approvals don't appear in the Teams approval (apparently a known issue??).

Yep still nothing. I even created a new flow from scratch today and still no email.

I dont see anything wrong with the Approval flow. You enabled notifications.

Are all the mailboxes, trigger mailbox, assignee and approvers email addresses all part of the same organisation and are not external email addresses?

For a different test, can you:

(1) clear the Requestor field (i.e. leave it blank) and re-test.

(2)  hard code a Requestors email in to the Requestor field (eg. abc@yourorg.com) and re-test
