Can the company organization in MS Teams be used with MS PowerAutomate?
E.g.
Can, for example, with an investment application that has a multi-stage approval process. The correct approvers for the respective applicant are automatically derived by the system based on the organizational structure.
How do approval workflows work in connection with the MS Teams organizational structure?

The Approval workflows doesn't automatically retrieve the team structure and configure the approval to be sent to some manager or department head.
You have to configure the steps to retrieve the information required and you can only make use of the extract information in the approval step.
Let us consider that I have a teams organization structure with user X set as manager, when I create the approval process it will not automatically retrieve the details of user X as he is the manager, we have to add in additional steps such as Get User Details and pass in the user information, once you have the output from the Get User Details action you can use that in the approval process.
There is no automatic addition or detection of approvers based on teams organization structure directly on the approval action, you need to add additional steps to retrieve those details.
