O365 Flows - For sending attachments to SharePoint library error

O365 Flows - For sending attachments to SharePoint library error - Microsoft Community

Hi,

I have just started using O365 Flows and am very excited to use it.

But during implementation of OOB Flows Template "Save my email attachments to a SharePoint document library" found few issues as mentioned below:

1. Create File Flow: When tried using the combination of "Sender - Subject - Name", the flows failed, because of some special character ":" in a subject line. My concern is, if the option is there then these special character issue should be handled.

2. Attachments : Strangely I would be getting almost every attachments including images used in Signature etc,, which is something making clutter the SP Library with non-required attachments.

Kindly suggest....

Thanks,

Neeraj Baluni

Hi kkurni,

Are there any updates with this bug? I am looking to be able to save attachments using the email subject too and am having issues with special characters.

Thanks!

Re: O365 Flows - For sending attachments to SharePoint library error

Hi there,

I just wanted to update this thread.

It is now possible to do this within flow using Parserr. We have just joined the Flow community and wanted to thank everyone in the flow team for making this possible:

https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/services/shared_parserr/parserr/

Parserr allows you to turn incoming emails into useful data to use in various other 3rd party systems. You can use to extract anything trapped in email including email body contents and attachments.

Have a look here: https://parserr.com
