Outlook 365: "when a new email arrives" vs webhook?

I have a flow meant to save in SP Online attachments to emails from a specific Outlook folder, but it doesn't seem to pick all files matching the conditions in my flow. Namely it looks like attachments in new emails sent as replies to an older one (i.e. subject lines stays the same) are not saved. Is that working as intended, or maybe I'm mistaken in my diagnosis? The flow history page is not super friendly for troubleshooting, especially because of lack of details at the list level (so you have to click back and forth to know what went on with each flow execution).

Office 365 has two triggers from new emails (Operation IDs OnNewEmail and CreateOnNewEmailSubscription), but the documentation it's rather sparse and I'm not sure which one I'm supposed to be using:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/office365/

Any help on whether new emails with the same subject line are supposed to be picked by either trigger, and when to use one vs. the other, would be appreciated.

Re: Outlook 365: "when a new email arrives" vs webhook?

Hi @otravers,

Could you please share more details about your issue?

I have made a test on my side and attachments in new emails sent as replies to an older one (i.e. subject lines stays the same) are saved,so I don't have the issue that you mentioned.

Please take a try to make a test again to see if the issue still exists.

Best regards,

Alice
