Permission issue with when sent an email from a service account

I've setup a flow based on manual trigger from an admin account who has the permission to send emails from a service account on behalf of admin account...
However, in flow when I set the service account under the 'Send As' option and when I trigger the flow from an account who does not have permission to send email on behalf I get this error - You are not authorized to send mail on behalf of the specified sending account.

I'm confused... the connector that flow uses is of admin account which does have the permissions...
If this is the case is there any workaround to give the flow access to send emails from service account instead of manually adding permissions to service account for each and every users to send an email on behalf?
