Planner creating duplicate tasks when receiving replies ro emails

Hello,

I created a flow to add a new task in MS Planner when ever an email is received. However, flow is creating duplicate tasks when a response/reply is received to the same email. I would like to avoid that. Is there a way to avoid the creation of duplicate tasks? I thought avoiding emails with "RE" would do the trick, but most of our subject lines have RE due to words like 'Reports'. Any thoughts?

Thank you!

Hi @BB9 ,

Instead of checking using RE, please try with RE: in the Condition, as the replied emails always contain a “RE:” or “Re:”.

By the way, flow is case sensitive, in order all the situations could be checked, we can also add “Re:” in the Condition.

I have set up the flow likes below, please check it for a reference:

@BB9

Can you post a screen shot of your Flow?  That will make it much easier to assist.

Thanks for the response. I did make a small change to exclude emails with subject starting with "RE:" and "Re:" - Conditions: Subject does not start with!
