Power Automate error 'credentials are missing or not valid'

Any ideas on why it shows Unauthorized at the top also?

Hi @Tosin ,

Looks to be an on premise SQL server based on server name?

1. Do you have a data gateway up?

2. What authentication type are you using and is it correct?

3. Does the account have the relevant access?

4. Can it connect via SQL management studio with the same credentials?

5. Is you connection in a connected state or error state?

6. Are there rules in place?

Hi Eric, 

Is it possible to have a skype / zoom session. we are having issues with the whole power platform system trying to switch admin privileges and fix things. I am a junior analyst and the senior left upon 2weeks of me joining. so now i am really stuck. would love to get your insights. Thank you.

2. Windows Authentication

3. Yes the account is the admin of our power platform.

4. Yes it can

5. it is in a connected state

Did you try recreating the connection ?

Did you try with some other account , connecting to SQL DB ?

Do the user which you are trying has required access dbo schema , employee DB which you are trying to connect ?

I tried to recreate the connection via power automate but it didn't work. I am trying to use my account now as opposed to the original owner who left. I get an error "Some of the connections are not authorized yet. If you just created a workflow from a template, please add the authorized connections to your workflow before saving."

The user is an admin who left but i recovered her account and now trying to fix the flows and everything else 😞 . she has access to the entire office e5 license etc

So the connector is working with the re-enabled account? 

Is the data gateway linked to the deactivated account?  Please refer to step 3 onwards here.

As a best practice please do not use personal accounts for connecting to On Premise Data Gateway , DB etc. please use service accounts to connect to DB

This will prevent the issue if anyone leaves the Organization .

Yes I re-enabled the account and that fixed the issue.
