PrestaShop Connector issue

Hello Guys,

I'm working on a PrestaShop Connector and I have some concerns :

To connecte to the Prestashop API you need to get a key from the back office. When you have this key there is two ways to ask the Prestashop API :

  1. You call the API like this : http://{key}@yourStore.com/api without authentication
  2. You call the API like this : http://yourStore.com/api, the website will ask you to provide a username and a password and you have to give only the key as username and no password.

Refer to this link for more details about Prestashop API access : PrestaShop API Documentation

For the first one I can't find how to make the key as a dynamic part of the URL.

And for the second one, the Security section cannot allow me to add a basic authentication with a blank password.

So, if you have an idea don't hesitate to help me Smiley Happy

Best regards,

Hi @Anonymous,

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?

Do you add a "HTTP" action to access your PrestaShop API within your flow?

For your first question, if you want to make the access-key as a Dynamic content of the URL (http://mypasskey@yourStore.com/api/) that you mentioned, you could consider take a try to initialize a variable to store the access-key within your flow. I have made a test on my side, please take a try with the following workaround:15.JPG

For your second question, you could consider take a try to type a null expression within the Password field of the "HTTP" action, I have made a test on my side, please take a try with the following workaround:16.JPG

More details about using expression in flow actions, please check the following article:

Use expression in flow actions

Best regards,

Kris
