Problem with "HTTP request is received" action flow

I am trying to build what should be a very simple flow - one issue may be that I am not very knowledgeable about Json.

Here is what I want to accomplish - I need someone to Trigger a simple GET http request like the following: URL/?Firstname=FirstName&Email=email-address, etc, etc

So I build a flow that looks like this: https://i.snipboard.io/nvmC8w.jpg

Here is my request body JSON schema: https://i.snipboard.io/COEzSX.jpg

I am doing a test via the Talend API tester chrome plugin: https://i.snipboard.io/OKQw5U.jpg

MS Flow says it runs fine and I get the test email but the Dynamic content isn't showing in the email, it shows blank: https://i.snipboard.io/G6VEe2.jpg

Can someone help me with what I may be doing wrong here?

Hi
If you expect parameters on the Request URI, you need to decalre them in the trigger Relative path instead of JSON body

Hope this helps

That may be pointing me in the right direction.

I now have the flow set like this: https://i.snipboard.io/oLWqXB.jpg

But when I run a test I get this error now: https://i.snipboard.io/bquEHs.jpg

Hi
Have you tried removing the json stuff? You are declaring tge same variable names as in your relative path.
Also, since HTTP GET, the tests can be completed from your browser, just need to type the right URL... probably faster
Hope this helps

Ok, I got it to work this way, it's not an actual GET request in the sense that you do Value Pairs like this: URL/"&Firstname=Mike&Lastname=Rogers".

You do it like this: URL/Firstname/Mike/Lastname/Rogers

This should be a sufficient workaround though, I just can't use the API tester the normal way, thank you.

Hi
Is the issue finally solved?
If so, then please mark the thread as solved, so anyone in a similar situation can find the way to solve it too
Thanx!
