Hello,
I'm trying to create a flow which will create a new task in Project Online, then add a resource to the newly created task. I've followed this post and am able to create new tasks either using the Project Online connector or with an HTTP request: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/project-support-blog/project-online-adding-tasks-where-you-wa...
Now I'm struggling to create the assignment to assign the resource. My HTTP request is shown below and is similar to the request shown here (starting with row 100), however I'm receiving a 401 Unauthorized error when I run this: https://github.com/OfficeDev/Project-Samples/blob/master/O365-Project-Online-REST-Samples/createproj...
I've seen that there are new methods to authenticate connections to Project Online as was described here, however I'm not sure why this would be relevant in Flow when I'm able to perform a similar post/add to create tasks.
This is my full flow. I have a 1 minute delay to make sure the first check-in/publish is processed before trying to add an assignment because I'm not sure if that could cause an issue with adding an assignment to a task (does the task need to be published to be able to create an assignment?)
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions on this.
David
Hi, I am running into a similar issue. Did you resolve the problem? I am interested to hear if it will work, or I should give up now. Thanks!
No, I haven't been able to get around this error yet.
Hi!!
First of all, you need to assign the resource to the team!!
