Proposal Approval Flow with Optional Approvers

Hello!

I'm new to this application, and I'm hoping for some guidance before creating my first flow. I've researched the wonderful posts in this community, but I'm not finding anything to support the business process that I'm trying to replicate in Flow:

1) User uploads a proposal document to Sharepoint

2) User populates some or all (approvers optional depending on proposal value) of the pre-defined functional approvers -- this seems to be the most difficult requirement to acheive

3) An email goes out to solicit approvals from the approvers selected in (2)

4) Approvers can either accept, accept with comments/edits, or decline

5) Approval records are recorded with timestamps and comments somewhere (doesn't matter where -- as long as we have a record)

Thanks for your help!

Re: Proposal Approval Flow with Optional Approvers

1) User uploads a proposal document to Sharepoint

Use Trigger When file is created

2) User populates some or all (approvers optional depending on proposal value) of the pre-defined functional approvers -- this seems to be the most difficult requirement to acheive

Use metadata people picker column

3) An email goes out to solicit approvals from the approvers selected in (2)

Use create and wait for approval action

4) Approvers can either accept, accept with comments/edits, or decline

Use standard approval action - either create seperate approvals, or single approval witha all must respond as per your requirements

5) Approval records are recorded with timestamps and comments somewhere (doesn't matter where -- as long as we have a record)

Create a list in SharePoint and use a action to add the record to the list as a audit trail
