RSS feed variable needed for xpath xml

I'm trying to parse out media:content url from an RSS feed using xpath. The flow starts with When a Feed Item is Published and then Create Item. media:content url= isn't recognized by Dynamic Content, so I was thinking xpath would be the right way to access this value. xpath requires an xml variable, but I'm having trouble getting the variable set.

Thank you!

Re: RSS feed variable needed for xpath xml

Hi @smithywick,

Which type of RSS feed do you use within your flow?

Do you want to use Xpath expression to parse media:content url?

I don’t think you could get media:content url content using Xpath expression, because the results that the “When a Feed Item is Published” trigger returned doesn’t contain media:content url content.

More details about the results that the “When a Feed Item is Published” trigger returned, please check the following article:

When a feed item is published

For Xpath expression, please check:

XPath Examples

Best regards,

Kris
