How to solved this?

Thanks,

Hi @daroot,

How is your approval flow created?

Are you using the action Send an email with options instead of action Start an approval?

How is your app created?

When using the action Send an email with options, it is not available to send an email on behalf of someone. While it is a default behavior that flow will send out the email from the creator of flow, but not the requestor from PowerApps.

I would suggest use the action Start an approval instead. I have made the following test.

The flow is triggered by a PowerApps button, set both Title and Requestor with dynamic content Ask in PowerApps.

1.PNG

Then add the flow to a PowerApps button, add two text inputs, Text input1 for Title, Text input2 for Requestor. And set the Default value of Text input 2 with following code to get current user:

User().Email

Then save and share the app with users.

2.PNG

When the shared users run the app on their side, the approval flow will run successfully and an email will be sent out from the requestor from PowerApps.

Hope it could be your reference.

Best regards,

Mabel
