Save Email body in SharePoint list

Hi Power Automate Community,

I am trying to create a flow that reads my Email body and save it in a SharePoint list.

For example:

If I receive an email with the following values:

1. Product  2. Product Name 3. Product Description, I want each items to save in a separate column in a SharePoint List.

This is the steps in my current Flow:

The output of this flow is:

<html><head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"><meta content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"><meta name="Generator" content="Microsoft Word 15 (filtered medium)"><style>
<!--
@font-face
	{font-family:"Cambria Math"}
@font-face
	{font-family:Calibri}
p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal
	{margin:0in;
	margin-bottom:.0001pt;
	font-size:11.0pt;
	font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif}
span.EmailStyle17
	{font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;
	color:windowtext}
.MsoChpDefault
	{font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif}
@page WordSection1
	{margin:1.0in 1.0in 1.0in 1.0in}
div.WordSection1
	{}
-->
</style></head><body lang="EN-US" link="#0563C1" vlink="#954F72"><div class="WordSection1"><p class="MsoNormal">Product</p><p class="MsoNormal">&nbsp;</p><p class="MsoNormal">Product Name</p><p class="MsoNormal">&nbsp;</p><p class="MsoNormal">Product Description</p></div></body></html>

The values are returned between a bunch of other codes and I don't know how to get each separate in order to save them in a sharepoint list.

Can someone help me with this?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi @JB0007

I'll be honest. Since we don't have regular expressions in Power Automate, it's super hard to parse text.

You can try a combination of strategically placed concatenated "splits" between the values to take chunks of the text out that you need, but it will be a lot of work.

If I have answered your question, please mark your post as Solved.
If you like my response, please give it a Thumbs Up.

Cheers
Manuel
