Search mailbox for emails and store to specific folder

Hi,

is there a possibility to search in a mailbox for email with subject or body-keyword and copy all matches found to a specific folder (onedrive or harddrive)?

Hi @Nachtfrost

Yes, it is. You can use the "Get emails action" and use the "Search Query." This is what it's called an OData query where you have to format it in a certain what to get the correct result.

Here's how to do it:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/query-parameters#search-parameter

In your case, try first with the subject and then improve the query for the body.

Another way of doing it is less performant is to fetch the emails and filter them in Power Automate using conditions. I won't recommend this because you can have hundreds of emails but if you're having difficulties with the OData queries then it could be a simpler solution.

Can you please check if and let me know if you have any questions?
