Send HTTP request action is not updating columns that have spaces

Hi,

I am trying to update a column using HTTP request in MS Flow. My column has a space like this: "Document Name", on my HTTP request action I am updating the column using this: {"Document_x0020_Name": "TEST"} but it returns error telling me to use only properties that are present on the library. I tried to update column without spaces and it works fine. Is this depricated? How do i update columns with spaces?

Hi @karl_oliverio ,

Yes, now if the field name contains a space, it can simply ignore the space.

And if fields such as Document Name and DocumentName exist in a list at the same time,  it will adding a 0 to one of the fields in Flow and still ignore the space. Unlike before, _x0020_ was used instead of spaces.

Or you could use Get items in Flow to check the correctness of the field name. Get the actual value of the field name in Body.

Hi @karl_oliverio

Check the exact internal name of the column in SharePoint

You can go to list/library settings

then click on the column name to go to column settings

The URL of the column settings page will have the exact internal name

Try using that in your action
