Send filter excel file to email from OneDrive

Hi Everyone

 

I have an excel table that saved in my OneDrive.

 

Employee NumberEmployee NameDepartment
100RulaHR
200IsaFinance
300AhmadHR
400LizarazoEducation
500Marian

Education

 

the file name is Staff Table.xls

 

Also, i updated this file each month by delete it and replace it by the last updated one and i save it with the same name Staff Table.xls

 

So, i need that after i add the new table to send the table as excel through email to all departments focal points by departments.

 

e.g Education should be sent to X

     HR should be sent to Y

Also, any idea that help me in this regard is welcomed 🙂

Do you need to send actual Excel file? 

It's possible to have separate views for different recipients. 

You can perhaps create separate worksheets and tables for each department and send them link to the file and ask them to go to their worksheet. In addition you can also send image of the table with the email so they know what data they are reading. 

 

You can achieve all of the above using Office Scripts (Run Script action in Excel online).
