Sending 100's of e-mails using Flow - throttled?

Hi Community,

I have a SharePoint list that is being used as the data source for a PowerApp. I need to send reminder e-mails out based on a date if the PowerApp survey is not completed.

My flow stays in a running state after sending approx 116 reminder e-mails but doesn't progress. Pretty sure I'm probably being throttled here. Any suggestions on how to achieve this with Flow?

Thanks,
M

Hi @CollabTechie ,

You could consider creating a loop that uses the variable to record the number of emails that have been sent. If it exceeds 200, delay the execution of the send email action for a few minutes.

Re: Sending 100's of e-mails using Flow - throttled?

Hi @CollabTechie ,

Could you share a screenshot of the Flow configuration?

Please refer to the link below for more details on Throttling Limits:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/office365/

If it does exceed the limit, you might consider reducing the frequency of sending reminder emails.

It does appear I may be reaching my send rate limit. Any tips on perhaps having my flow iterate through say 200 on my list then delaying and doing another 200 etc?
