Good evening.
I am defining some Flows to analyze sentiment (with Azure Cognitive Services) in incident management tickets for my org.
I obtained very good results creating a flow that gets incident description from an Excel file, submit to Sentiment Analyzer and push all data to PowerBi datasets.
Unfortunately I failed trying to build the Cognitive Service in West Europe. I wasn't able to create a connection to the API if I created it on West Europe (the creation fails when I submit the keys):
The wizard doesn't accept the key I got from Azure admin interface.
The only way I found to go ahead was to create the resource on West-US zone (and this way all works flawlessly).
For compliance to our data policy, I need data to remain in Europe, so I need a way to solve this problem. I tried also with "Northern Europe" zone.
Someone from Microsoft support could help me?
Thanks

Hi Leandro - unfortunately this is a localization bug that was recently reported where some connection parameters are missing for non-English languages. When creating a connection for Text Analytics you should be prompted to provide a site URL similar to my screenshot below, however when localized that field is not showing up. If the field isn't provided we default to westus, which is why those keys are working as expected.
We're tracking a fix for the issue, in the meantime changing your browser language to English should allow you to create a connection with the correct parameters. Once it's created you can switch back and use the connection as normal. Let us know if you're still hitting an issue!
Hi gelaslean,
Do you have an environment that is located in Europe?
Are you using the action “Detect Sentiment” and trying to create a connection to “Text Analytics”?
Do you get the API key and Site from this URL:
https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/try/cognitive-services/?productId=%2Fproducts%2F54d873dd5eefd00dc4...
To test this issue, I created an environment that it located in Europe and the connection “Text Analytics” can be created without issues. I got the API key from the URL I provided.
Best regards,
Mabel Mao
Hi Mabel,
I created the Cognitive Service (configured as Text Analytics) from Azure Admin Portal (we have a paid subscription) and configured it on West Europe zone (all our Azure resources are located on West Europe). That keys were not accepted by Flow wizard (neither starting from a model nor creating a new connection).
Then I created a new Cognitive Service on West-US zone and the keys were accepted without problems.
Using the link you provided I see only "5.000 transaction per month" configuration.
I selected "Italy" as country but I can't select West/Northern Europe zone. The resource created is in West US:
We also need more connections/month and to charge the bill on our account.
Thanks.

Probably the report you are referring came from me
I recently opened a support case for my problem (REG:117121392083357), got the workaround and solved my problem.

@tpalmer Thanks for sharing.
