SharePoint List Question... which forum to use??

Is there a forum I can ask about creating a formula in SharePoint List??  I'm not sure if this is the correct location for that.  I have a formula set up that works, but want to add additional "IF" statements, at that point it fails.

 

I would appreciate if someone could direct me to where to post the question.

I presume you've nested too many statements? Documentation reference 👀 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/if-function-7025be14-5665-43d0-af20-8293d1fe9d3a

While based on Excel like functions, you don't get to use 'everything'. I was hoping there was a SWITCH function however I don't see it. There are plenty of smart folks in any of the communities and pretty much every community has some experience with SP so you should be 'safe' to ask everywhere. That being said, in my experience, you might want to look at your problem differently than you might be used to. Maybe column 'result' is from a related table.

I would suggest you post a sample of your problem so we can provide some assistance specific to you and to also be open to trying something new.

I current have a formula I am using in SharePoint list that work great (see below), but I need to add in additional if statements which are creating failures.

 

Working formula:

=IF(ISBLANK([Date Completed]),"",IF([Audit Rating]>79,"Pass","Fail"))

 

I have a list that has a column that displays a Pass/Fail depending on the the Audit Rating listed in another column.  This is generated from a series of scores listed in additional columns and calculated into the Audit Rating. I want to add an additional statement(s) that says that if any of the columns of scores is a "0" then there should be an automatic failure. Even if the score is above the 79 specified.

 

Any ideas on how to make this work?? I tried the formula below with no luck.

 

Failing Formula:

=IF(ISBLANK([Date Completed]),"",IF([Audit Rating]>79,"Pass","Fail"),IF([5S Rating]=0,"Fail","Pass"),IF([Documentation Rating]=0,"Fail","Pass"))

=IF(ISBLANK([Date Completed]),"",IF(OR([5S Rating]="0",[Documentation Rating]="0"),"Fail",IF([Audit Rating]>79,"Pass","Fail")))
