Start Approval emails not showing line breaks

I've had this flow running a while, but its just started putting \n where line breaks need to go. Anyone come across this or know a fix?

I have got the same issue. This is really really bad and frustrating that this has been there for such a long time and still not fixed.

If you use the Start and wait for an approval action the line breaks work in the approval email:

The line breaks also work with the Create an approval action:

The Start an approval action has been removed and therefore won't be updated. So although it still appears in templates it is an old approval action and shouldn't be used. You can create a flow from blank without needing to use templates which do suffer from going out of date as actions get updated or replaced.

@Anonymous I've just tested it again on the start and wait for an approval action and had to put in 2 line breaks which then ended up being how you had it when the email came in.

Yeah I've been having that issue for a while. This is not solved. Its been posted in 2018 and still today its not solved yet.

Please unmark it. We need a solution for this.

The whole thing is pretty badly implemented in Outlook 365. It looks OK in the Flow App but its highly unlikely any of my approvers use that over Outlook. What IS working for me is using H3 headers (H1/H2 were just way too big).  Something like this:

Note that the end of each line contains no spaces. The above generates the following: 

Good enough for now I suppose but would be even better if it worked as described here.

I've been using bullet lists a lot, those work also. I am still currently fighting microsoft with this, and it's hard for them to even grasp what the issue is, since it's specific to Outlook, but only when using a flow approval task.

Microsoft refused to fix it. My ticket ended with them tell me it is just a 'limitation of outlook' and that they weren't going to fix it. 

End of discussion. Believe me I was pissed, but it's not going to change. Use a workaround instead.
