Test button other location?

I want to test Mirosoft Flow button by phone/web at other locations without moving.

My scenario:

Test the Flow button at many locations without moving

like moving other citys, other countries at this office

for save cost, save time

Ok. So you are building a solution that requires multiple geo-locations and you are stuck in an office in the same place. And don’t have the time or hiss get to tour the country to test your app?

I get it.

So, you need to build into your application a Test Mode variable that you can set to True / False. Then you need to build an array variable with a bunch of Longitude and Latitude objects.

If Test Mode is Yes then your Flow picks a random location from your array, else it takes the users real location.

When building apps like this we call it “Stubbing our” methods or data. But you will put some leg work into your test data, but it should be simpler / cheaper than jumping on a train around the country.

Hi @yoshihirok ,

Could you share more details on your scenario?

How is the flow related to “locations”?

When using a button trigger, whenever and wherever it is clicked, the flow will be triggered.

By the way, if you mean the region that hosts the environment, you may create a flow under different environments located in separate region, then test it under corresponding environment.

Document on regions in Microsoft Flow for your reference:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/flow/regions-overview

Best regards,

Mabel

Hi @v-yamao-msft , thank you for your reply

My scenario is:

Test the flow button at multiple places without moving,

like countries, municipalities, offices

when the flow button added and when the flow button updated

Currently:

Test the flow button with moving by airplanes, trains, automobiles,

to verify it, support it

it need a lot of time, cost
