Trailing zeros from calculated currency column in a ShrePoint list

Hello,

I have a calculated column in SharePoint, which is a currency with 2 decimal places. It displays OK in SharePoint but when I use it in a Flow as dynamic content in an email, it has a load of trailing zeros after the decimal point, 12 decimal places to be precise.

I'm only interested in displaying the two most significant of these.

I expect I need to initialise a variable then use an expression to set it, but I can't figure out what I need to do exactly.

Re: Trailing zeros from calculated currency column in a ShrePoint list

Hi @WillPage,

Thanks for feedback.

The issue could be reproduced by me.

We could simply use a float function to convert a string version for a floating-point number to an actual floating point number.

According to your description, I have added a Calculated column named Total in SharePoint list which is a currency with 2 decimal places. Besides, I suggest round the number to two decimal places in the list first.

In the flow, use a float function likes below:

float(triggerBody()?['Total'])

Then in the email body, the calculated number is showed as what it is in the list.

A screenshot for your reference.

Re: Trailing zeros from calculated currency column in a ShrePoint list

Hi,@WillPage ,

Could you share more details of your flow?

Could show us the difference when the data display in sharepoint and in a Flow? Then I can make a test,

and help figure out a reasonable flow for you.

Best regards,

Zhongys
