Trailing zeros from calculated currency column in a ShrePoint list

Hello,

 

I have a calculated column in SharePoint, which is a currency with 2 decimal places. It displays OK in SharePoint but when I use it in a Flow as dynamic content in an email, it has a load of trailing zeros after the decimal point, 12 decimal places to be precise.

 

I'm only interested in displaying the two most significant of these.

 

I expect I need to initialise a variable then use an expression to set it, but I can't figure out what I need to do exactly.

Thanks for feedback.

The issue could be reproduced by me.

We could simply use a float function to convert a string version for a floating-point number to an actual floating point number.

According to your description, I have added a Calculated column named Total in SharePoint list which is a currency with 2 decimal places. Besides, I suggest round the number to two decimal places in the list first.

In the flow, use a float function likes below:

float(triggerBody()?['Total'])

 Then in the email body, the calculated number is showed as what it is in the list.

Could you share more details of your flow?

Could show us the difference when the data display in sharepoint and in a Flow? Then I can make a test,

and help figure out a reasonable flow for you.
