Hello,
On a weekly basis a particular file is updated in my organization which I need. Presently, I have setup a SharePoint alert for when the file is modified to send me an alert. However, the user responsible for editing the file regularly saves it mid-edit, thus triggering my alert and sending me multiple, sometimes a dozen emails.
Is there a way to fashion a Flow which will take into account mid-edit saves and only send me an alert/link after the file has been saved, and say, hasn't been edited for five minutes thereafter? Likewise, is there a way to attach the word document in the email alert?
Thanks!
Hi @natsch,
Do you not want to send an alert when the user saves the file within mid-edit?
Currently, there is no way check if the file is saved in mid-edit within Microsoft Flow. I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in Microsoft Flow currently.
If you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

Kris
