I need to trim one of my share point field and insert into SQL table. Could you help me with the function? For example: share point get items field name is "Residual_Date".

Re: Trim for a field

Hi @Anonymous

The value in the trim function ResidualDate should be picked from dynamic content

Not manually entered

Re: Trim for a field

Hi @Anonymous

Use the trim function in an expression

example : trim(dynamiccontentyourfield)

Trim function removes leading and trailing whitespaces

Re: Trim for a field

Hi @Anonymous

You are still hardcoding ResidualDate

It needs to come from dynamic content

First enter trim() in expression

Then switch to dynamic content to read the residula date value

trim(<dynamic ccontent picked residual date>)

Re: Trim for a field

I am really sorry for so many questions. Could you let me know which one I need to choose here? I don't see residual date in dynamic content after typing trim in expression. I also don't see "see more" option.

Re: Trim for a field

Hi @Anonymous

If this is running in a for loop action

use the following expression

trim(item()?['Residual_Date'])

you can type the above directly in the expression field

If this is not running in a for loop
